Water Tank Cleaning & Inspection
Water Tank inspection and cleaning is our specialty and something we take very seriously as we see too many of our competitors cutting corners.
Blue Locker Diving utilizes the OSHA required three man dive team to inspect, clean and if necessary, make coating repairs using an NSF approved epoxy to help ensure the longevity of your tanks. Applying a food grade epoxy greatly improves the life of the coating as well as budgeting for years to come giving you piece of mind and knowing when you will or may need a blast and re-coat.
All divers are saturated with a 200ppm chlorine solution before entering into the tank. No part of the divers body will touch any part of the water, and the divers are completely encapsulated in a dry suit and helmet prior to entering into the tank. All services can be performed while the tank remains online and functioning at capacity freeing up any hassle that comes from having to drain your tanks and take the system offline. This utilizes minimum water loss and saves water within your community.

Valve Repair
Blue Locker Diving is able to help with maintenance or replacement of valves and or pipeline. All divers on board have the experience and knowledge to handle any installations or removals. Whether its within your potable water system or lake. We can create coffer dams of any size to help with valve replacement while tanks remain online, we have helped several utilities with lake intakes and structures.

Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Inspections
What do you do when you need to inspect your tank, but you can't take it out of service? Ask us about our ROV—remote operated vehicle—services and how we can send in a robotic dive unit to film your tank structure.
While the ROV is limited compared to what wet divers can do, you will be able to see the sides and bottom of your tank, without needing to send anyone in. ROV prices are comparable to sending in a 3-man dive team.

Underwater Welding Repairs
BLD always ensures the structural integrity and longevity of your underwater infrastructure. Utilizing highly skilled commercial divers and advanced inspection techniques, we provide comprehensive evaluations and maintenance solutions for a wide range of marine and industrial applications—such as underwater welding and repairs.
In the event the owner cannot take a damaged structure out of service, BLD offers trained, certified underwater welders. All BLD welders are fully accredited ASME/AWS welders. Cerfications are available upon request.

Underwater NDT
Utilizing an advanced team of divers, specialized tools and non-destructive technology for inspection and diagnostics, Blue Locker provides reliable information to the project managers. Blue Locker provides professional and accurate services for testing for flaws in surface or subsurface structures, inspection and repair.
With our state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled dive team, Blue Locker can detect and define the extent of corrosion and superficial and structural damage in inaccessible areas. Blue Locker provides documentation and seismic photographs on all projects.
BLD has the ability to test your steel tank floor, walls, and roof thicknesses while tank is in service to see if there is any unseen material deterioration occurring (where tested). BLD can also test the Dry Film Thickness (DFT’s) of your exiting coatings to see how much life your coating can expect to last prior to needing to be removed and recoated. Both are completed with Non-Destructive Testing methods (NDT) so not to have to cut into and/or damage your exiting coatings while in service.
